When Your Email Address is Associated with an Existing Account

During enrollment, if you see a message on the Account credentials page that says your email address is already associated with another account, use the following information to determine the relevant method in NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal.

If

Scenario

You are enrolling in NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal using a token

  • If your email address is already associated with an existing account and your name and date of birth matches the existing account's information, you can do one of the following:
    • Log on to the existing account and append or add a new practice to the existing account.

    • Enter a new email address and complete the enrollment process. A new NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal account will be created. After completing enrollment, you will receive an email to verify your email address. Open the email and verify your email address.
  • If your email address is already associated with an existing account and your name and date of birth does not match the existing account's information, you must type a new email address and complete the enrollment process. A new NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal account will be created. After completing enrollment, you will receive an email to verify your email address. Open the email and verify your email address.

You are enrolling in NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal using an invitation link

  • If your email address is already associated with an existing account and your name and date of birth matches the existing account's information, you can do one of the following:
    • Log on to the existing account and append or add a new practice to the existing account.

    • Enter a new email address to enroll. Open the email and verify your email address. After verifying the email address, you will be redirected to the Terms and Conditions page. Complete the enrollment.

  • If your email address is already associated with an existing account and your name and date of birth does not match the existing account's information, you must type a new email address and verify the email address. After verifying the email address, you will be redirected to the Terms and Conditions page. Complete the enrollment.
